3D Printer Activity Block

Mr. Kille and Mr. Marino have teamed up to start the 3D Printer Activity Block. In this group, students have been researching the School’s new Makerbot 3D printer, which can generate an almost infinite amount of 3D “printouts.” As a part of this activity block, students are learning about various initiatives to create prosthetic hands to help those who need them. They have already created several of the components and this week students will colaborate on the construction. The video above was created by Mr. Marino, recorded with his GoPro camera. In the video, fully functioning nut and bolt combination were created. The video has been time elapsed 64x.
