Students in Señora Barkley’s 7C Spanish class played a game called “Dáme Cinco” or “High Five.” The goal is to have students practice asking and answering questions in Spanish. No English is allowed.

After each pair asks and answers each other questions, they give each other a high five and then trade questions before moving on to ask a different classmate. The students love being able to interact and be out of their seats for activities like this and they get better at asking and answering questions in the target language.
