Last Friday marked the end of a grueling campaign week for the eighth grade students of Marshall Simonds Middle School. Eighth Graders assembled in the auditorium and listened to candidate speeches before casting their votes. This week, their votes have been counted and class officers have officially been selected. Kadyn Fennell was elected Class President, Rylee Glennon as Vice President and Alison Martin as Treasurer.

Though only three of the twenty-six candidates could be elected to office, we’d like to thank all candidates for their participation and hard work. Running for office isn’t easy and students put a lot of time and effort into their campaigns. The students and staff of Marshall Simonds Middle School would like to congratulate the class officers on their victories and wish them a great year!
