BHS Business Students Visit MSMS

17 03 2017

Six High School business students visited the 8th grade breakfast on Friday March 10th to share their enthusiasm about the business courses at the High School and encourage our 8th graders to sign up for business classes as their elective. Each of the students had different reasons for wanting to take a business class from knowing they wanted to pursue a business career to recognizing the importance of knowing business basics in any career.  Some students had no idea what to expect with the business courses and then were so pleased that the classes are so relevant, interesting and enjoyable.

The students also mentioned the very popular HS DECA business club in which students participate in business competitions, develop leadership skills, and do community service work.  Students can only join if they have taken a business class.
MSMS 2016 Graduates CC Phair and Ella Colwel (pictured) were 2 of the students returning to share their business experiences.  “Take a business course,” they said, “It’s fun!”
